You play Santa, we'll play elf
Social Santa lets your whole group contribute to everyone's gifts and have a little fun doing it. Each person gets to be "Santa" for one person in the group. Everyone else gets to be "elves", helping the gifts be a group experience.

How to use Social Santa
Stay anonymous!
It will be more fun if you don't give away who you are anywhere in Social Santa. That way no one can deduce who is their personal "Santa." So don't sign your name in comments or give too many clues.
Fill out your wishlist
At the bottom of your home page is a place to fill out your wishlist (after clicking "edit," the page will reload and you may have to scroll down to make changes). Add links to your Amazon wishlist, or just type in things you want for Christmas! Be sure to click the "Formatting help" (found below the wishlist and comment text boxes) to see fun ways of adding links, bulleted lists, and more.
Play Santa for your person
The person on the home page with a star next to their name is who you are buying for. You're their Santa, and you're in charge of their page.
Make comments for the other elves to see in the "Santa's thoughts" section. Here's where you can ask general questions or make general comments about their wishlist and everyone knows it's the Santa speaking. You can still make comments in the comments section, but they are anonymous and no one will know you're the Santa on that page.
When you've got a pretty good plan, add items you've bought or plan to buy in the "Gift ideas" section. That will also tally up the cost so you can make sure you're staying in the agreed price range for the group.
Play elf for the other Santas
Visit everyone's profile and make comments to help out. Share details about a person's preferences if you know them, share links to better deals on items they want, and just have fun!

- Return once starts a new line. Return twice (leaving an empty line) starts a new paragraph.
- *italics* = italics
- **bold** = bold
- Basic links: just paste the full URL
